Adress of Organizing President
Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure and immense honor that I welcome you to this year’s conference of the Bangladesh Society for Veterinary Education and Research (BSVER). Our theme, “Climate Change: Animal Health and Food Safety,” underscores one of the most pressing challenges of our time—a challenge that affects not only the health of animals but also the safety and security of the food we rely on.
As the impacts of climate change intensify, our interconnected ecosystems face unprecedented stress. Livelihoods that depend on livestock, aquaculture, and agriculture are increasingly vulnerable to disruptions caused by shifting weather patterns, emerging diseases, and compromised food systems. Addressing these challenges requires innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable practices.
This conference serves as a vital platform for veterinarians, researchers, educators, policymakers, and industry leaders to come together, share insights, and explore actionable solutions. Over the coming days, we will delve into groundbreaking research, exchange ideas, and foster partnerships that will guide us toward a resilient future for animal health and food safety.
Let us use this opportunity not only to broaden our knowledge but also to strengthen the bonds within our professional community. Together, we can lead the way in building a world where the impacts of climate change are mitigated, the health of animals is safeguarded, and food systems remain secure for generations to come.
I thank you all for your participation and dedication to this cause. Let us make this conference a milestone in our collective journey toward progress and sustainability.
Welcome to the conference, and let us inspire each other to make a difference!
